Indeed, he must determine the directions and the extent of the displacements in the space of the maxillae released by the osteotomy in order to ensure the good positioning of the implants according to physiological axes, to realize a prosthesis without false gum and to give back to the patient a facial appearance as close as possible to the initial state before edentulism.
Digital technology now allows simulating and controlling the execution of the entire surgical procedure of osteotomy and placement of implants from the prosthetic project.
The objective of this clinical publication based on a representative case of complete edentulism with advanced maxillary bone atrophy is to present the whole of this “digital surgical work-flow” which now belongs to the data of science.

Treatment of the edentulous mandible using a conventional complete removable denture is a common clinical treatment option. Yet, it can sometimes be a difficult and challenging intervention. In a large number of cases, this therapeutic option does not satisfy the patient’s expectations. Patients generally suffer from dentures instability.
Through a case report, the aim is to encourage dentists to use mandibular mini implant because retained overdentures can provide an effective treatment modality for edentulous patients and, in particular, those who have resorbed ridges and persistent problems in using conventional mandibular prostheses.
Mini dental implants (MDI) are considered to be a good alternative to standard dental implants due to their small diameter, avoidance of additional surgical procedures such as bone augmentation and effective method for retaining overdentures..
Dental Transposition of Mandibular Impacted Canine and Lateral Incisor Treatment: A Case Report By: Anderson Mamede, Saulo Gribel
The aim of this report is to describe a dental transposition that was treated in Modal College’s Orthodontics Postgraduate course, Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brasil. The patient had a complete lower canine lateral incisor transposition that was taken to their ideal position using fixed orthodontic devices. Lead the transposed teeth to their correct positions is a good option as long as you use correct diagnosis methods and a well-planned mechanics.
